We have been operating fine holidays for nearly 60 years and we have a vast reservoir of knowledge and experience to draw upon to provide you with outstanding holidays. Our enviable reputation is too valuable to us to risk cutting corners - ever!

Quality accommodation

We choose hotels to offer levels of value, quality, comfort and service to which our customers have become accustomed. These are of 3, 4 or 5 star standard. We always try to ensure that hotels consistently maintain the high standards of accommodation, meals, service and personal attention we expect. All main stay hotels include porterage and there is a choice at dinner.

Your on board team

Our Tour Managers and Drivers are very important to the success of your holiday. Tour Managers are in charge of your holiday from providing a commentary and dealing with suppliers to generally making sure everything runs smoothly. Your Driver is highly experienced and has specialist training in driving the Setra Coach. Working as a team, they ensure that you have the best holiday possible. As a team, they make this look easy but this is a reflection of their training and professionalism.

Using our vast experience we create original and unique itineraries and with the help of our dedicated and highly skilled staff we make sure that everything works exactly is as it should, so you have a completely relaxed and carefree holiday.

At Harrisons we believe in making every pound count so we negotiate hard, not to drive the price down but to drive up the quality and the value for money. Not only do we include so much but what we do include is carefully thought out and is there to improve your holiday. We welcome comparison because we are convinced that you will not find a ‘like for like’ holiday for less.

We include so much

There are no hidden extras. Read the holiday descriptions carefully and you will see that not only do we include every excursion on our coach holidays but often much more. If a boat or train ride or a place of interest such as a house or garden is featured in the itinerary then we include the fare or entrance too. Look in the included box and if it says ‘included’ then it is. Every coach holiday is escorted by a Tour Manager, and travels aboard a fully featured Grand Touring Coach. During your holiday you can have as many hot drinks as you like.

Door-to-door service

It couldn’t be simpler for you. You wait in the comfort of your own home, we arrange for you to be collected in one of our luxury people carriers, or a taxi, and you are taken to the coach. At the end of your holiday you will be returned to your door.

Our ethos

Most of our customers have travelled with us many times and many have become old friends. The unique atmosphere this creates makes new customers feel welcome and makes for a congenial holiday atmosphere. Joining a Harrison Holiday is like being invited to join a social circle of friends but if you prefer to you can just keep to yourself and enjoy your holiday, no one minds!

Choosing to travel by coach should not mean that you lose your individuality. Everyone has different requirements and interests and we believe you should be treated as such. Of course there have to be compromises when travelling with others but we strive to offer the benefits of group travel without the pitfalls. Wherever possible, particularly in the UK we arrange for you to choose when you want to eat and sit at small tables, (see CITO Select and Elite awards).

Our ambition has always been to create holidays where our clients arrive at a hotel in a more comfortable vehicle, more rested, have paid less than other guests and benefit from a varied excursion programme.

On overseas holidays

On P&O Dover to Calais crossings before 11am we include a full cooked English ‘Farmhouse’ breakfast to get day one off to a great start. At the end of your holiday we present our unique Welcome Home Pack which includes freshly baked bread and milk etc.
