Did you think all coaches are the same?
The German built Setra coach, is probably the finest vehicle available today. These vehicles have an unequalled ride quality, unprecedented levels of comfort and safety, and a very quiet interior. You might not notice all these benefits immediately but you arrive at journeys end relaxed and refreshed.
These new coaches are longer and wider than comparable vehicles and the feeling of space is remarkable. The low swept panorama windows are tinted and slightly curved, allowing the best possible view.
They also have a abundance of unique electronic safety and stability devices more common on top of the range cars. We have brought these, already superb coaches to better than 4 star (gbk rating) Grand Touring Coach specification.
All the usual refinements that are found on other high spec vehicles
such as climate controlled air conditioning, hot drinks galley,
refrigerator, WC/washroom, full carpeting, video and audio system etc.
Auxiliary passenger compartment automatic pre-heating system for chilly
winter mornings!
Extra Space
For legs. These coaches have 3 rows less seats that their design specification and this is used to let you stretch out!
And elbows! The aisle seats can slide into the aisle to provide you with a little extra elbow room too!
We have chosen special seats with extra padding. These seats are not only pleasing on the eye but wonderfully comfortable. Computer optimised design ensures orthopedically ideal ergonomics. Seats have adjustable backs. Headrest inserts are leather and seat back tables are provided.
We have two styles of coach: Setra 415GTHD, 12.2 metres long with
two axles and 42 seats and Setra 416 GTHD, 13.2 metres with three axles
and 48 seats. We think of everything!
We can’t all sit in the front seats but we have come up with the next best thing! When appropriate, such as on an excursion, the image from our innovative front facing television camera is displayed on the coaches 2 flat screen monitors so everyone can enjoy the view through the front window. This is not just a gimmick but is very useful when a guide or Tour Manager is drawing your attention to a point of interest.
You know where you are with us. On journeys where the front facing camera is turned off the monitors will use a state of the art satellite navigation system to show the exact position of the coach on a map so you can watch your progress to your destination.
